Soft Tech Consulting is seeking a highly motivated, innovative individual to fill the role of a Full Stack Developer/Engineer.  The designated candidate for this position will join a collaborative team environment, providing technical analysis, design and guidance to support the successful delivery of the project and provide effective communication to all levels of staff for reporting system environment status. 

Responsibilities Support the development of analytical apps where there is core expertise in one area (i.e., React or Java) with the ability to support development areas in other parts of the apps. Create unit tests leveraging frameworks like JestSupport the creation of the user story backlog, grooming the acceptance criteria, and estimating/sizing the stories to be pulled for each sprintParticipate in design & creation of scalable softwareWrite clean, functional code on the front- and/or back-endTest & fix bugs or other coding issues Qualifications Associates Degree or higher in the Information Technology/Cyber Security or any related technical fieldMinimum of 5 years experience.Minimum of 2+ years as a frontend or backend developerReact experience preferredRequired ExperienceWork within the development teams to ideate software solutionsPrevious experience creating modern web-based apps that support the visualization of dataWrite effective APIsCreate unit tests for developed code while mitigating code smells, security hotspots, and aligning with best code practicesTroubleshoot, debug & upgrade softwareExperience with React with preferred background in TypescriptExperience with VSCode/Chrome development toolsTop Secret with the ability to attain SCI/Poly requirementPossess or have the ability to obtain a Security+ certification

Previous consulting experience and understanding customer/business needsExperience leveraging CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins, Git/BitBucket, SonarQubeExperience with Agile practices a plus  Experience with source control management (e.g., Git) About Us
