Full Stack Developer

TITLE:                                 Full Stack Developer

EMPLOYER:                               Fiserv Solutions, LLC

LOCATION:                                 Milwaukee, WI (and various unanticipated locations throughout the US subject to authorization from management)

DUTIES:                                      Develop web-based and server-side applications. Own one or more of the web services.  Add new features, resolve bugs, and refactor and improve code base. Develop new features and services in Java-based server applications, backed by relational DB and our data warehouse. Design and implement REST APIs for mobile and web clients including payment devices, web dashboard, and 3rd party applications. Drive merchant-facing services, features from development through deployment, and production monitoring. Identify technical requirements and assist the business team with realistic project planning and feature development. Translate product and design requirements into functional, maintainable, and extensible software in-line with company objectives. Work with the infrastructure team to design data models and deploy large-scale highly available services. Work with quality assurance to develop test plans and strategies. Write automated tests for web and server features. Follow Agile SDLC, participating in planning and Kanban boards. Participate in a regular on-call rotation.

REQUIREMENTS:                     Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field and 4 years in any job title involving Java development experience. In the alternative, employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field and 2 years in any job title involving Java development experience. Prior experience must include: 2 years of web development using Javascript and Java; 2 years working with modern web UI technologies including HTML5 and CSS3; Working with MySQL or Oracle databases; API design; Software Development Lifecycles including Agile Scrum; Working with front-end frameworks including React or Angular; and working with front-end development tools including Babel, Webpack, NPM, Yarn, or Bower.
