Full Stack Developer

Job description

Amaris Consulting is looking to recruit an Intermediate Fullstack Developer to expand its teams in Cape Town, South Africa.

Key Tasks:

 

Handle both front-end and back-end development tasks. Design, develop, and implement secure, maintainable, and scalable applications using the Microsoft stack, including ASP.NET MVC/Core, .NET frameworks (4.5 to .NET Core), and Razor. Oversee the full lifecycle of products, including analysis, design, development, quality control, deployment, support, and maintenance. Work on user interfaces, services, APIs, mobile apps, and SQL databases. Write accurate and up-to-date technical documentation. Upgrade, configure, and debug existing solutions. Use version control and project branch merging effectively with repositories (Git). Identify areas for improvement in existing solutions and propose creative, innovative ideas for new developments and improvements. Maintain SaaS infrastructure. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Engage in release planning, testing, regression testing, demonstrations, and retrospectives.  Develop and adhere to best practices for application development.

 

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in Software development. Proficient in C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, Webforms, MVC framework, and .NET Web APIs (JSON). Experience with JavaScript and Entity Frameworks. Familiarity with Visual Studio. Strong background in object-oriented development techniques. Experience in relational SQL database design, table creation, and views. Proficiency with SQL Server (MS and Azure), including writing SQL scripts, stored procedures, and optimizing queries. Experience interpreting, developing, and consuming REST APIs. Ownership of responsibilities and objectives, adherence to best practices, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Ability to ask for help when needed and offer guidance when within your realm of expertise. Strong attention to detail. Good written and verbal communication skills.
