The contract is via a school cooperatives company.** **What we do:** + We are full-stack developers, we work with Ruby on Rails and React in a dockerized environment. + We are working on Canvas Studio, a multimedia tool that allows instructors and students to collaborate, learn, and create through video and audio. + We are currently developing and maintaining video processing, analytics, and web services, using React and Ruby on Rails to write key features to improve teaching and learning. + We have a quality mindset, we all participate in writing unit, interaction and e2e tests for all features, and a designated test engineer leads this effort in the team. + We have opportunities where you can try yourself out in devops work, we use AWS and maintain our services on our own. **What we look for:** + **Active student status at a Hungarian University for at least 6 months, availability to work at least average 20 hours a week.** (We can't accept student status on correspondence or distance training.) + Experience in web technologies + Willingness to learn Ruby and React + Experience or projects outside of class is a plus. + Ability and desire to work in an inclusive and team-oriented environment, but can be self-directed as needs dictate. + Is excited about testing code and learning new testing methodologies to ensure that the customer can use a best-in-class product. + Comfortable communicating over text and video conferences.
