We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team as a Machine Learning expert with Full Stack development capabilities with Python, Java Spring Boot and Angular. You will be accountable for designing, developing, and maintaining the ML engine platform, ensuring its reliability, efficiency, and effectiveness. Furthermore, responsible for maintaining the machine learning engine that powers our web application.

Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with UI and Java Backend teams to integrate new forecasting and regression models into the existing architectureDesign, develop, and maintain the machine learning engine, focusing on optimizing model performance and accuracyWork closely with data scientists to refine and implement new machine learning algorithms for forecasting and regression tasksTroubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to model deployment, prediction, or inferencePerform regular monitoring and maintenance tasks to ensure the ML engine is running efficiently and effectivelyModel Deployment and Hosting:Design, develop, and deploy a scalable model hosting platform e.g. using Kubeflow, Kserve etcConfigure and handle the platform for seamless model serving and inferenceEnsure models are accurately versioned, tracked, and deployed with minimal downtimeRequired Machine Learning and AI Expertise:Currently working on machine learning projects and staying up-to-date with the latest trends and techniquesProven understanding of machine learning fundamentals, including supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, and natural language processingExperience with Generative AI (GenAI) technologies, such as text-to-image models or conversational AI is a plusFamiliarity with explainability techniques and model interpretability methodsTechnical Skills:Programming languages: Java, Python, or other relevant programming languagesMachine Learning Libraries: StatsModel, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch etcData Preprocessing: pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn etcModel Deployment: Docker, Kubernetes (MLflow/Kubeflow is plus)Cloud Computing Platforms: AWS, Azure, or private cloud platformsExperience with Java Spring Boot for building scalable web applicationsAngular experience for crafting intuitive and user-friendly interfacesPreferred Knowledge/SkillsPrevious experience as a Full Stack Developer with expertise in Java Spring Boot and AngularStrong understanding of web application architecture and scalability principlesExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with R&D mindsetStrong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in agile teamsGood to Have:Experience with DevOps practices (e.g., Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment) for machine learning modelsCertification in machine learning or data scienceExperience with cloud-based machine learning platforms (e.g., AWS SageMaker, Azure Machine Learning)GenAI exposureWe are Siemens
