Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Corporate Recruiter to join our team, focusing on Recruiting and Onboarding as well as Employee Engagement. You will develop, facilitate, and implement all phases of the recruitment process while collaborating with department managers to ensure accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria. Your role will also involve creating and posting jobs, screening applications, scheduling interviews, and assisting with the interview process. Furthermore, you will participate in local college job fairs and maintain relationships with various organizations to enhance recruitment efforts.

ResponsibilitiesDevelop, facilitate, and implement all phases of the recruitment process.Collaborate with department managers to draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.Create and post job listings in the UKG Applicant Tracking System and on social media sites.Screen applications and select qualified candidates.Schedule interviews and assist with the interview process.Collaborate with hiring managers and HR Manager during the offer process, including recommending salary ranges, incentives, and start dates.Create offer letters and process new hires into the HRIS system.Participate in local college job fairs and recruiting sessions.Build and maintain relationships with schools, associations, and other outside recruiters.Handle all administrative tasks for onboarding and new hire orientation.Update the organization chart and report employee headcount data to the parent company.Prepare and track status change letters for employees and ensure all changes are reported to payroll.Create wage scales for each career job group based on new hires and terminations.Essential Skills3-5 years of full cycle recruiting experience across a wide scope of skill sets.1+ year of experience recruiting on corporate and executive-level positions including accounting and finance, operations, administration, engineering, and customer service.Advanced knowledge of MS Office, HRIS, and Applicant Tracking Systems.Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.

Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree highly preferred.Experience with UKG HRIS, Concur Travel and Expense, Canva Pro, and VISIO is preferred.Work Environment

You will be part of a four-person HR team in a new corporate building located in Chesapeake, VA, which also houses manufacturing functions. The building is equipped with modern amenities, and the HR team promotes a friendly, family-like atmosphere. The team is dedicated, hard-working, and maintains a professional business vibe. Employee engagement is a significant focus, with activities such as cornhole tournaments and breakfast spreads. The work environment is collaborative, and the team works closely to achieve common goals.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $40.00/hr.
