Fulfillment Manager
Job Description The Fulfillment Manager is tasked with managing a professional team by developing KPIs, promoting cross functional training, workflow management, and proven performance. A crucial responsibility is managing our day to day operations at the Houston Fulfillment Center. As a Fulfillment Manager, your team will be responsible for all activities related to order fulfillment, inventory planning, picking, packing, and shipping logistics. Your goal will be to ensure that all orders are received, packaged, and delivered accurately, cost-effectively, and on time. You will lead initiatives to achieve team goals, continuously improve processes, optimize warehouse operations, and implement strategies to drive cost efficiencies. Additionally, you will synchronize delivery schedules with external carriers to ensure smooth and timely distribution. Furthermore, the Fulfillment Manager will develop and introduce new services or enhancements, and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. Responsibilities: - Maintains receiving, warehousing, and fulfillment operations by initiating, coordinating, and monitoring SOPs. - Ensure all orders are completed, loaded, and shipped same day according to shipping policy - Coordinate kit program prepping and FBA shipping schedule - Report out to company leadership on relevant KPIs and recommend improvements using data-driven conclusions - Develop & continuously improve standard operating procedures (SOPs) for order fulfillment to meet operational goals - Review, schedule, and maintain shift coverage - Coach, support, and motivate new and existing team members - Manage on-site month-end physical inventory - Resolve escalated customer concerns or carrier disputes as needed to maintain positive and mutually beneficial relationships - Manage RMA processes and track shortages - Complies with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by staying current and up-to-date on all regulations. - Conduct ongoing performance reviews / journal entries - Adhere to loss prevention, inventory control and compliance procedures - Ensure compliance with all customs regulations and procedures - Quarterly review carrier/parcel agreements in order to reduce costs and increase shipping efficiency by maintaining strong relationships - Effectively communicate with fellow department managers on all correspondence that may have an impact on current workflows - Ensure all equipment on the property is maintained in optimal working condition. - Achieves financial objectives by forecasting, scheduling expenditures, and analyzing variances. - Maintain internal relationships with intercompany suppliers allowing the team to meet or exceed revenue targets Physical Demands: - Lift and move items up to 50 pounds - Stand/walk for up to 10 hours - Regularly bend, lift, stretch and reach both below the waist and above the head We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
