What will I be doing?
As a Front Office Supervisor, you would be responsible for assigning work and ensuring the completion of daily tasks in Front Office operations in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
\n\n\nOversees front desk operations. Provides guest service, guidance and leadership to ensure consistent customer service is provided. Assigns and instructs team members in details of work
\n\n\nDemonstrate a thorough knowledge of hotel information including, but not limited to, room categories, room rates, packages, promotions, the local area and other general product knowledge and answer guest questions and inquiries
\n\n\nUse up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities and to maximize room occupancy
\n\n\nRespond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
\n\n\nField guest complaints, conduct research and resolve and negotiate solutions for guest satisfaction
\n\n\nAssign work and supervise team member performance in all Front Office procedures including, but not limited to, guest check-in and check-out, lobby traffic and flow, telephone operator services, and determining room rates and availability.
\n\n\nSupport and assist team members in handling guest inquiries and requests and in resolving guest complaints
\n\n\nMonitor, observe, and assist in evaluating team member performance
\n\n\nLead pre-shift meetings, inform, and train team members
