Overview
Hire Resolve’s client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Front Office Manager to lead their Front Office team at our hospitality establishment in the Western Cape. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in the hospitality industry, exceptional leadership skills, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
Oversee all front desk operations, including check-in/check-out procedures, guest inquiries, reservations, and room assignments Train, motivate, and evaluate Front Office staff to ensure optimal performance Develop and implement standard operating procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner Monitor and maintain front desk inventory, including key cards, stationery, and supplies Collaborate with other departments, including housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure seamless guest experiences Prepare and analyze daily reports on occupancy rates, revenue, and guest satisfaction metrics Participate in regular staff meetings and provide input on improving overall guest experience Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve front office operationsRequirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Front Office Manager role in the hospitality industry Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong leadership abilities and a proven track record of motivating and developing a team Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays Knowledge of local attractions, restaurants, and events in the Western Cape area A degree or diploma in hospitality management or related field is preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skillsContact Hire Resolve for your next career-changing move.
