a) Receives and responds to customers and guides them for the process to be followed.
b) If new patient registration forms to fill and ask for insurance original card checking for the expiry date, photo and name) and if it is whether be accepted or not.
c) Fill the claim form by their name, card number and date of medical service.
d) If old patient, asks for his/her pt. ID and call for his/her file in the MRD.
e) Updates all customers with the required information or status
f) Take appointments for doctors and schedules patients.
g) Processes bills (if assigned) and assists the customers with the relevant information.
h) Collect reports from different departments.
i) Liaisons with the Department of HIM for patient files.
j) Co-ordinate with insurance, billing, admissions and discharge departments.
k) Acts as a link between the physicians and patients.
l) Handles the console and transfers and attends to telephone calls and enquiries.
m) Records all customer feedbacks and updates the supervisor.
n) Maintains a congenial work environment for customer satisfaction.
o) Performs any other jobs assigned by the superior as per exigencies of work.
p) Take appointments for doctors and schedules patients.
q) Participate in Hospital/Medical Center quality program and be member of quality committees if chosen.
r) Exercise good judgment and maintain confidentiality in maintaining ’s critical and sensitive information, records, and reports.
s) Actively participate in the Hospital / Medical Center’s on-going Patient Safety and Quality Improvement Programs and other In-Service Training Programs.
t) Act as a translator if needed.
u) Perform other duties and tasks assigned by the Head of Department scope of job.

• Reporting any untoward events that will impact the occupational, safety & health of patients, staff, contractors, facilities, operations, etc.
• Comply with the established OHSMS procedures of which they have been informed, instructed and trained.
• Actively participate along with line management towards implementation of OHSMS requirements.
• Report to the respective manager any potentially hazard, unsafe act or condition, which may cause EHS impacts.
• Report all EHS hazard, near miss and incidents to the respective line manager.
