We're seeking a passionate, self-motivated software engineer to work on our industrial vision guidance robotic team! 

 

As a Frontend Engineer you will have the opportunity to play a major role in creating exciting new technology which includes computer graphics, analytics, software language design and much more. Our teams and technical work are highly collaborative and it is essential to have a collaborative working style. You will be guided by senior members of the team as you grow into increasing autonomy and responsibility.

 

We are currently developing dynamic web based applications that are defining the way people interact using cutting edge technologies. And we've just scratched the surface!

This is your chance to help shape the direction of this exciting new application of the most modern software technologies.

 

This role requires you to be on-site in our St. Laurent office 3-days a week.

Responsibilities:
Develops web based user interface for Zebra's industrial vision guided robotics software.Participates in the full development life-cycle from definition and design to product delivery and testing.Collaborates/communicates effectively with Design, Product, and Robotics teams.Reflects on technology and team process and contributes to improvements in both.Keeps up to date on new technologies and share your knowledge.Builds and improves technical skills.
Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

BS/MS in Computer Science or related field.Minimum 2+ years in production engineering.Experience with React, JavaScript/Typescript/ES6.Experience in web development ecosystem.Strong analytical abilities and debugging/troubleshooting skills.Must be bi-lingual in both English and French.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Three.js or other web based graphical libraries.

Experience with robotics and ROS.

Excellent oral & written communication skills.Ability to work independently on technical projects.
