Front Desk / Sales Representative - Club Pilates

POSITION:

The purpose of the Sales Representative is to assist the General Manager in growing our membership, servicing existing members, and maintaining our studio environment.  The Sales Representative will follow our sales process to understand the prospective member's fitness goals, booking them into Introductory Classes, and ensuring they have the best possible experience when in our studio. The Sales Representative also assists with retaining current members. Pilates fitness knowledge is wonderful to have but, is not a requirement.  

REQUIREMENTS:

Excellent sales, communication, and customer service skills requiredGoal-oriented with an ability to achieve sales in memberships, retail, private training, and teacher trainingAbility to learn and use the Club Ready software systemAbility to stand or sit for up to 8 hours throughout the workdayHearing sufficient to understand conversations, both in person and on the telephoneMust be fluent in English and have excellent communication skills via in person, phone and emailMust be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlinesMust be comfortable contacting members and perspective members over the phoneMust communicate professionally and efficiently to clients and colleaguesMust have proficient computer skillsDaily and/or occasional travel may be required

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Execute sales process of lead generation, follow up, and closeConduct tours of the facility while establishing a relationship and targeting individual’s needs and wantsMaintain acceptable level of personal sales productionEmphasize and enforce objectives of the club as a fitness and wellness providerPresent available services to current or prospective membersBook quality appointments to achieve monthly sales quotaParticipate in special events (health fairs, grand openings, marathons, and community and hospital events) to promote the clubAssumes responsibility for developing selling skillsOther duties as assigned
