Freight Audit and Payment Analyst (12 Months)
We are looking for a **Freight Audit and Payment Analyst** to join our office in Cluj. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the audit & payment of transportation billing globally, with a primary focus on Europe. You will serve as the freight audit & payment program liaison with the regional carriers, business units and Enterprise mode & program teams. We look forward to seeing your application! **In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:** + Support the audit and invoice resolution process and reduce billing errors through corrective actions with mode team representatives and carriers + Monitor key activities and KPIs for 3PL Service Provider (CASS) and Carriers. Schedule meetings with CASS and Carriers on regular basis to review performance and action plans to achieve KPI target set by the global team as well as issuing corrective actions when necessary + Accountable for driving continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, optimize workflows, and streamline business processes + Ensure compliance with internal accounting practices including industry and legal requirements and standards + Manage the Program Operations Help Desk (eu.freightaudit@emerson.com) and provide daily audit support for Europe region for Emerson users and Carriers. + Build and maintain strong relationships with Carriers and Emerson Business Units. Address any issues or concerns raised by Carriers and Emerson Business Units in a timely and professional manner **Who You Are:** You are detail-oriented and excel under time pressure, consistently identifying and addressing non-conformities. Your customer-focused approach and strong analytical skills enable you to effectively support stakeholders. As a cooperative team member, you leverage your technical knowledge and commitment to continuous development, managing complex tasks efficiently while fostering strong relationships. **For This Role, You Will Need:** + Experience (typically 2+ years) in freight audit and payment processes within a complex logistics or supply chain environment. + Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and payment processing. + Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders at all levels. + Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. + Fluent written and verbal English is required. + Data analysis tools, Microsoft Office Suite knowledge. **Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:** + Knowledge of CASSport and Oracle eBusiness is a plus, as well as electronic data interchange technologies (EDI, Webform, XML). + Proficiency in using freight audit and payment software/systems **Our Offer to You** At Emerson, we are committed to fostering a culture where every employee is valued and respected for their unique experiences and perspectives.
