Job Description

PLEASE NOTE: This is a short-term position with an estimated duration of up to 12 months, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed. 

As an Office Coordinator, you will report to the VP of Content and support the Content/Production managers (Live Events, Studio, Digital and Operations/Engineering) with various tasks, assists in office management, and helps host all internal and external guests in the newsroom.

Responsibilities:

Manage and book hotel and travel arrangements for talent, analysts and staffAssist talent, analysts and staff with expense reports as neededCode Live Events and Studio invoicesBuild and submit payroll for talent, analysts, and PEP employeesManage daily and seasonal credentials for all sports teamsAssist in the onboarding of new PEP employees/interns, including coordinating paperwork and working with Human ResourcesManage work events and the booking/catering involvedHelp manage parking in the office garage and associated tagsUpdate Live Events budget sheets with completed invoices and payroll sheetsCreate shipping labels and sends out packages as neededHire crew under the Live Events department for various games and finds replacements when necessaryPerform other duties as assignedMostly work 11a-to-7p range Monday through Friday, but hours can vary throughout the year, including potential weekends necessary for special events (e.g. playoffs, Sundays in NFL season)

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experienceMinimum of one (1+) year of administrative office experienceProficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Desired Characteristics:

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and handle last-minute changesExcellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, with a proactive approach to identifying issues and proposing solutionsStrong work ethic and positive attitude, capable of managing multiple tasks and prioritizing effectivelyThorough knowledge of sports and current events, both local and national

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days a week.

Hourly rate for this position is $25/hr - $28/hr depending on experience.
