**Framing Operator** **Company:** **PDS Tech Commercial** **Location:** **Pine Grove, PA 17963-9106, United States** **Schedule:** **Sunday – Thursday, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM** **Pay Rate:** **$16.00 per hour** **Position Overview:** PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a **Framing Operator** to join our team in Pine Grove, PA. This role is responsible for **operating and maintaining framing machines** , ensuring proper fabric feeding, adjusting machine settings, and conducting visual quality inspections. The ideal candidate will have **strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work independently** in a fast-paced production environment. **Key Responsibilities:** + **Review dye orders and standard operating procedures (SOPs)** to determine machine setup. + **Thread fabric into the machine** following company standards. + **Operate framing machines** , maintaining proper speeds, widths, and overfeed settings. + **Make necessary adjustments** to ensure production quality. + **Monitor fabric for defects** and ensure proper feeding onto the pins. + **Record production data** and enter dye order details into the WIP computer system. + **Report any machine issues or material inconsistencies** to the supervisor. + Follow **all company safety protocols** , including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). + Maintain **good housekeeping and a clean work environment** . + Foster a **culture of continuous improvement** and teamwork. **Required Qualifications:** + **High school diploma or GED** (or equivalent experience). + **Ability to read, write, and communicate in English and Spanish** preferred. + **Basic computer skills** for data entry and production tracking. + Strong **problem-solving skills** and ability to work independently. + **Ability to interpret technical instructions** and adjust machine settings accordingly. + **Manual dexterity, visual acuity, and attention to detail** to identify fabric defects. + **Must be able to stand for long periods** and perform repetitive tasks. **Physical Requirements & Work Environment:** + **80% standing, 20% walking** throughout the shift. + Frequent **stooping, kneeling, crouching, and repetitive hand movements** . + Occasionally required to **climb or balance on equipment** . + Ability to **lift up to 50 lbs** when handling materials. **Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements:** + **Eye protection** + **Hearing protection** + **Steel-toe/non-slip shoes** + **Reflective vest (where applicable)** + **Hard hat** **Why Join PDS Tech Commercial?** + **Steady work schedule (Sunday – Thursday, overnight shift)** . + **Competitive pay with opportunities for growth** . + Work in a **structured, safety-focused manufacturing environment** . + Be part of a **team-oriented production facility** that values quality and efficiency.
