Role description:
People Management
Promotes an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture and harmonious working relationship among team members and with other teams; Sets clear team goals, deadlines and delegate tasks; Performs staff reviews, mentorship and recommends staff training development; Strengthens Business Continuity Planning (BCP) which includes ensuring completeness of process documentation and strong back-up for critical tasks; Reviews and consolidates team metrics monthly and report team performance to management; Liaises with SDM in ensuring team member adherence to company regulations and performance goals; Facilitates team meeting to communicate concerns and policies among management and team members; Communicates to SDM all situations that may affect the team's ability to meet standards or deadlines; Assists management with hiring processes and new team member training; and, Approves timesheets, leaves and expense claims.Technical/Stakeholder Management
Collaborates with various stakeholders on reporting timetable that will cover the key deliverables and ensuring deliverables are met based on agreed timetable; Supports the Finance Management in the design and development of new and ad hoc management reports to track necessary performance metrics for business analysis; Provides in-depth analysis of Management Reports for monthly and quarterly business review within the region and for Group reporting covering the financial statements (balance sheet, profit and loss statement, cash flow), highlighting business performance in terms of KPIs including comparison against Plan/Forecast, and providing advice on operational efficiencies; Drives the development, review and compilation of Plan/ Forecast Reports for Group, Regional and GBA reporting; Works closely with SDM in driving and implementing process standardization and globalization; Answers team member technical reporting questions, helps with team member concerns, and oversees team member work for quality and guideline compliance; Addresses concerns and inquiries from Regional Counterparts with proposed resolutions as necessary; Drives the team in identifying, defining, and implementing process improvement for reporting efficiency and accuracy Works with the regions in promoting Arcadis GSSC vision of "Business Partnership" and "collaboration" with counterparts; and, Performs such other accounting related functions that may be assigned from time to time.Role accountabilities:
Manages the team and providing effective guidance Supervises daily operations of the Team; Ensures resources are utilized efficiently and distributes work evenly Coordinates with counterparts on tasks and KPI of staffs Supports business strategy, plans and values, contributing to the achievement of a high-performance culture.Qualifications & Experience:
CPA with 6 to 8 years of work experience in management reporting, financial planning & analysis, business intelligence and/or general accounting Preferably at least 5 years supervisory experience · Exposure to shared services or multinational environment is preferred Experience with ERP Systems is preferred · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills; ability to work with up and down organizational structure and across multicultural organization Can work under pressure, detail-oriented, and results driven Strong proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, Outlook, and Word) is required Ability to prioritize effectively · Excellent stakeholder management skills Can work on flexible hours to meet changing work environment and to meet tight deadlines.
