Title and Summary
FP&A Manager – Region Expense ManagementOverviewThe FP&A Manager – Region Expense Management will lead the financial planning, analysis, and reporting for the Services business. They will monitor and manage regional expenses, prepare and analyze financial reports, and drive strategy and business process improvement using financial tools and models. This role also supports finance business partners globally and regionally with data analysis and feedback.
Responsibilities
•\tLead the regional expense forecasting and budgeting process, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business goals and objectives.
•\tPrepare and present financial reports (monthly, quarterly, annual) and analysis, highlighting key drivers and variances in regional business performance.
•\tEmphasize regional reporting and management, providing insights and recommendations to optimize regional, product, and business unit plans.
•\tProvide periodic (monthly, quarterly, FY) reporting and forecast support to ensure comprehensive financial oversight.
•\tDrive strategy and business process improvement initiatives by building and maintaining financial tools for analysis and modeling.
•\tCommunicate across various stakeholder groups to ensure alignment and transparency within the organization.
•\tSupport the LBF initiative by running and maintaining business models to analyze regional expense and profitability trends and opportunities (e.g., MIS, KPIs, CEO deck).
•\tDemonstrate robust performance management of regional expenses, including reporting and tracking of regional performance.
•\tSuccessfully embody change management; foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
•\tDevelop and deliver compelling presentations that convey the story behind the numbers and frameworks; coach and guide team members on effectively communicating complex financial information to various audiences.
•\tDevelop expertise at the regional expense line level, such as personnel, fulfillment, and data processing; understand the drivers and dynamics of each expense category and how they impact overall business performance.
Experiences
•\tExperience leading and managing a diverse group of stakeholders; develop and leverage key relationships to understand the needs and objectives of stakeholders.
•\tAbility to model and perform predictive analytics to review financial and operational scenarios and outcomes.
•\tExperience operating in a diverse, multi-functional finance group; demonstrate strong leadership and influence skills.
•\tExposure to supporting a designated business area on regional expense management, leveraging analytical techniques as well as outside trends and events.
•\tExperienced with financial systems and applications; serve as a subject matter expert and mentor to those less experienced (e.g., Hyperion, Oracle).
•\tExperience identifying and implementing process improvement activities; drive best practices and standards across the finance function.
•\tSuccessfully resolve complex issues in a timely and efficient manner; adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
