Position Summary
The Carbohydrate Solutions FP&A Ethanol Manager partners with the Commercial, Operations, the respective Carbohydrates Solutions Finance Director and COE’s to establish and execute on short, medium and long term strategic financial plans of the company and its alignment with business unit strategy. This includes the annual Carbohydrates strategic business plan, financial planning cycle, monthly financial forecasting, and tracking of key initiatives, and/or analytical support of financial results. This position coordinates with the Corporate FP&A group and COE’s to align reporting across the company. This position also coordinates with the Carbohydrates Ethanol and Co-Products Finance Director to support projects and key financial analysis.
The candidate will be hands on supporting the respective business in accomplishing their strategic financial and business objectives. This position will be responsible for coordinating planning\\forecasting and tracking business objectives by providing business intelligence and insightful information to monitor financial strategy. Key success factors for this role include teamwork, strong analytical and communication skills, and ability to quickly adapt to changing business and project needs.
Key Responsibilities:Partner across the finance organization with a focus on driving actions that improve the business performanceAssist with the annual business plan including operating, capital and financial componentsCoordinate with the development and reporting of the business financial forecastEvaluate assumptions, assess risks and understand variances vs. prior and vs. planEstablish performance tracking process and KPI’s for businessPartner with the business to support, educate, and track return metricsPrepare external and internal presentations for business as neededBenchmark company’s financial and operating results against industry performancePropose, pilot, and collaborate cross-functionally to implement procedural improvements, work-process changes, and IT projects to improve month end closeQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting. A Master’s degree is a plus.Minimum of 7 years in financial role, business development, or accounting roleDemonstrated capacity to handle diverse number of projects simultaneouslyStrong ability to collaborate with a multi-cultural and cross-functional teamIndependent, inquisitive and a self-starterStrong MS Office skills (i.e. Power Point and Excel)Understanding of business intelligence toolsExcited about this role but don’t think you meet every requirement listed?
