FP & A Lead Analyst
Citibank, N.A. seeks a Financial Planning and Analysis Lead Analyst for its New York, NY location. Duties: Cover Global Expenses focusing on NAM for BCMA (Banking, Capital Markets & Advisory) business in ICG. Play a central role in drafting Global expense story, planning and target setting for BCMA expenses, liaising with regional teams, and coordinating key deliverables. Manage headcount and expense forecasting process for BCMA business. Review financial performance, including drivers, trends, and competitive environment, to enhance management, regulators, and shareholders’ understanding thereof. Support BCMA business with FP&A analytics on direct expenses and oversee allocation process for an end-to-end understanding of BCMA total expenses. Work cross-functionally on key strategic decisions and targets, and to develop standard and centralized expense analytics. Assist in interpreting business performance against expense targets and business dynamics given macroeconomic and market factors. Identify and implement course corrections to ensure achievement of targets, including conducting analysis for divestitures and wealth. Partner cross-functionally to achieve driver-based centralized forecasting for BCMA expenses. Responsible for Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review Pre-Provision Net Revenue forecast on a quarterly basis. Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policy. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in any field, and five (5) years of experience with the financial services industry in the job offered, or in a related occupation. Five (5) years of experience must include: Providing financial analysis for monthly forecasts, strategic multi-year forecasts, and annual budgets; Managing regulatory and shareholder perspectives to enhance comprehension of financial performance; Collaborating with business partners to execute strategic decisions and targets to deliver on Investor Day commitments; Implementing restructuring/right sizing, investment prioritization to high growth sectors in specific region and managing discretionary expenses; Identifying and implementing course corrections to ensure achievement of targets, including conducting financial analysis for divestitures and wealth; Developing standard and centralized analytics in collaboration with other regional finance teams; Interpreting business performance against targets and understanding business dynamics in the context of macroeconomic and market factors; and Performing CCAR Processes, Financial Modeling, and expense optimization techniques. 40 hrs./wk.
