Key Responsibilities: Monthly Reporting and Budget Preparation (90%): * Compile and prepare detailed monthly financial reports * As a FP&A Consultant, you will analyze and interpret budget materials to ensure accuracy and alignment with financial goals * Collaborate with finance team members to review and adjust budgets as necessary * Monitor and track budget performance, identifying variances and suggesting corrective actions Data Extraction and Management (10%): * Download and manage financial data from Salesforce and Sage Intact systems * Ensure accurate and timely extraction, organization, and integration of financial data into reporting frameworks Excel Expertise: * Utilize advanced Excel functions including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, SUMIFS, and other data manipulation tools * Format and organize raw data for analysis, ensuring data integrity and usability PowerPoint Presentation: * Develop and enhance PowerPoint presentations to communicate financial insights and budgetary information effectively Data Interpretation and Analysis: * FP&A Consultant will interpret complex sets of Excel files and provide clear, actionable insights based on data * Apply critical thinking to analyze trends, variances, and financial forecasts Self-Starter and Initiative: * Demonstrate a proactive approach to managing responsibilities with minimal supervision * Take initiative in identifying areas for process improvement and implementing solutions
