Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Financial Planning & Analysis Teams develop, interpret and implement financial concepts for financial planning and control. They perform technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance. They gather, analyze, prepare and summarize recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements and operating forecasts. The Financial Planning & Analysis Teams also perform economic research and studies in the areas of rates of return, depreciations, working capital requirements, investment opportunities, investment performance and impact of governmental requirements.

 

We are looking for an experienced FP&A Analyst position to be part of the operational Plant Controlling team of TE Connectivity MOG supporting the financials of El Cajon. The role will be expected to produce timely and accurate financial information and provide business relevant consulting.  This position will be located in El Cajon, California. United States

 

Responsibilities:
    Ownership of Products costing and became a SME in costing activities including annual or on rolling costing
•    Business Partnering with Project and Product management for contribution margin calculations and cost simulations
•    Analysis and guidance of capital expenditure requests including control of capital spend and reporting
•    TEBIT Savings audit, ensure data integrity and monthly reviews of actual savings
•    Support in preparation of monthly Forecast, annual Budget, Audits internal and external 
•    Monthly manufacturing performance results preparation, analysis and submission 
•    Cost control, track spend and follow up on variances
•    Maintain and update dataset of plant performance figures and KPI 
•    Weekly reporting of actual results against forecast and review with Plant Controller and Ops Team
•    Support in preparation of regular Ops reviews
•    Support on ad-hoc analysis, pro-actively identify Business performance gap, and propose gap closing action
•    Permanent controls aiming to ensure compliance with company policies and liaise with FSS 
•    Continuous improvement of processes, systems and reports 
•    Business partner and support to the local Operations team

What your background should look like:

•    Bachelor degree in BA, with focus on Finance and accounting / Controlling
•    Mastery knowledge in Excel. Proficiency in the rest of programs of Microsoft Office required, SAP experience beneficial but not essential. This Manufacturing Plant uses MACOLA ERP in Conjunction to SAP – MACOLA knowledge is a plus
•    Demonstrates problem solving abilities with an emphasis on strategic thinking, teamwork, and results-driven implementation 
•    Very good quantitative, analytical, communication and presentation skills 
•    Good communication skills to interact within different levels and functions of our organization to identify and solve problems, as well as improve and carry-out processes in support of the team’s responsibility 
•    Fluent English

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $111,936-139,920 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
