Additional foundry related duties, such as coordinating trials, sand testing, process book information and pattern evaluations, may also be assigned as needed. **Responsibilities:** + Assist with setting up and maintaining the process books or other electronic information needed for the digital transformation project + Identifying defect location + Identifying root cause of the defects + Provide recommendations for improvements + Review sand testing data + Monitor sand preparation process + Data mining for process changes and scrap information + Perform sand testing in a lab setting to determine our current and preferred sand properties **Required Qualifications:** Be enrolled in a four-year technical program related to the foundry industry. This position will require extensive computer use. An individual must be proficient with computers.
