Foundry Business Intelligence Engineer
**Description** For more than 95 years, Asplundh has been helping communities build and maintain safe and effective power. As a Business Intelligence Software Engineer, you will manage the development and delivery of reporting to support field operations, business, and customer needs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and deliver digital solutions that align with business goals, providing valuable insights and advanced analytics utilizing the leading-edge Palantir Foundry Platform. The position will: + Be instrumental in enabling our organization to leverage data and technology for informed decision-making + Be responsible for designing and supporting technical solutions, solving complex challenges, and working on large-scale applications. + Provide development and support, diagnose and resolve technical issues, derive technical requirements, manage software development lifecycle requirements, and develop enhancements. + Responsibilities also include creating tools for non-technical users, training users, utilizing AI and LLMs, and understanding cloud infrastructure. + Oversee SDLC stages, ensuring robust, scalable applications, and execute projects with best practices for architecture and performance while maintaining high software quality through testing and code reviews. **Knowledge, Skills, and Experience** Strong communication skills, performance & proficiency management, time management, coordination, training, efficiency in standards development, sound decision-making, and positive approach. + Development experience using Palantir Foundry is preferred + Strong engineering background preferred in fields such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Data Science, and ML + Strong coder with proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, TypeScript/JavaScript, or similar + Proven experience managing software development projects using Agile or other SDLC methodologies. + Exceptional ability to define and analyze complex problems, design and plan approaches, manage engagement, and deliver results using a combination of strategy and design methodologies + Experience working with utility or government clients + Experience with utility or asset-related maintenance technology platforms + High technical standards demonstrated using design patterns, clean coding, peer reviews, and unit testing **Benefits** We offer a competitive benefits package that provides a foundation of support for the health, safety, and security of you and your family.
