Foundry 2nd Shift Supervisor
   MAU is hiring a Second Shift Foundry Supervisor for KSB GIW, Inc. in Thomson, GA. As a Second Shift Foundry Supervisor, you will lead a diverse and skilled manufacturing team, overseeing 30+ staff members to meet daily and weekly production targets. Your responsibilities will include organizing resources and processes, providing direction, training, and support on the factory floor, recognizing achievements, addressing performance issues, and fostering a productive work environment. This is a direct-hire opportunity.

Benefits Package 401k matching Life insurance Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Short term disability Long term disability Paid time off Flexible spending account Health savings account Shift Information Monday to Friday | 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM Required Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, OR 6 years of relevant foundry supervisory experience and/or training; an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered General Requirements Proven supervisory experience with strong problem-solving abilities and a focus on process standardization Excellent coaching, leadership, and communication skills Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite In-depth knowledge of production planning processes and best practices Strong strategic planning and decision-making abilities Ability to effectively manage complex issues across multiple departments Essential Functions Oversee daily environmental, safety, and health compliance with federal and state regulations, as well as company policies, within the foundry and surrounding areas Support manufacturing teams in achieving company goals by setting clear expectations, monitoring performance, and evaluating job results Enforce company policies and operational guidelines to maintain consistency and efficiency Assist in developing and delivering both classroom and hands-on training programs Promote employee development by providing growth and learning opportunities Implement cost-saving initiatives and process improvements to enhance efficiency Ensure production schedules are met according to established plans and deadlines Collaborate with the maintenance team to address breakdowns and coordinate repairs Provide coaching and guidance to employees to optimize workflow and performance Address and resolve workplace conflicts to foster a positive work environment Develop and maintain efficient work schedules to meet production demands Work closely with other manufacturing departments to ensure seamless operations Assess production equipment conditions and provide detailed reports as needed Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with safety standards Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous improvement initiatives Identify and report process bottlenecks, assisting in the implementation of corrective actions Support and follow through on continuous improvement projects Flexible to work various shifts as needed based on business demands Perform additional duties as assigned by management
