we are looking for a Design engineer to join our team at Santa Rosa, Querétaro.

What you can look forward as Design Engineer:

The Foundation Brake Design Engineer has the ability to provide creative and practical design solutions to meet customer specifications.

 

Responsibilities:

Design new brake calipers, rotors and DIH assemblies. Apply available analysis tools for design of brake calipers components and rotors. Mark up component and sub-assembly drawings. Check drawings for correctness and release drawings in document control system. Update/create/check/release sub-assembly BOMs. Review test data with the Development Engineers for DV1, DV2 and PV testing. Support the assembly plant to analyze field return parts/components. Interface with manufacturing on component design and tooling requirements. Generate and maintain Component DFMEA’s. Interface with local customers and attend customer meetings in person.

Your profile as design engineer.

Qualifications:

B.M.E or similar. 2-3 years of experience in an Engineering position (coop and internships included). Chassis technology related products preferred. Familiarity with manufacturing processes, including production, prototype & testing lab capabilities. Computer literacy in basic PC based office software. Able to learn and use product specific calculation software and Data Management software. Strong problem solving and analytical skills. Good interpersonal, planning, and organizational skills. Ability to travel, as required. Fully Bilingual CATIA software advanced,  Nice to have Windchill
