Fortiva Additive Technical Sales – Dairy /Beef (Ruminants)
Fortiva Additives is seeking a Technical Sales Specialist to grow sales within assigned species and assist sales members with overall technical leadership on additive technologies. Additive Technical Sales guide the two-way translation of innovation and the marketplace. They are the catalyst for technology transfer and education to sales teams and customers to reach our ambitious growth goals.
Key responsibilities:
Sales growth with assigned accounts and overall Fortiva additives in all channelsDevelop & execute account growth plans, including sales forecasting and producer meetings and support programsLeverage resources, cultivate relationships & grow your networks to identify opportunities to drive Additive salesDevelop and deploy product training to sales, marketing, and strategic accountsGenerate technical content for marketing of Additive products including technical articles, presentations at industry events, technical reports, and sales toolsContribute to additive research execution (university, field trials, etc.) including collaboration with strategic accounts across Innovation, Product Development and Post Launch R&DEngage with internal and external partners to provide market insights, emerging trends and competitor intelligenceRepresent Additives at key industry & customer meetingsEducation Required:
Minimum of Masters degreeFocus in Animal Science, Nutrition, Microbiology, or Immunology in RuminantsExperience Preferred
Experience in feed additive or animal health account management in the commercial livestock industry, including innovation, product development and technical servicesUnderstanding of the impacts of additives on the health and performanceTrack record of presenting complex technology, novel additive technologies and concepts in a clear and succinct mannerFormulation experienceCompetencies Required
Self-starter and goal-oriented with ability to achieve resultsStrong problem-solving abilities and a can-do attitudeContinuous learner with an innovation growth mindsetExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Office programs and SalesForceStrong understanding of gut health, gut receptor biology, immunity, and the impacts of additive ingredients on the health and performance of production animalsUnderstanding and experience in the design, research, implementation, monitoring and delivery of novel feed additives to the marketAspiration to move quickly, and work within a multidisciplinary team, including demonstration of excellent collaborative skillsBase Salary: $120,880 - $181,320
Travel: 50%-80%. This role is remote and location is open.
