Job Title: Formulation Technician I

Shift: 2nd

Pay: $20 + 7% Differential

Job Functions:Monitor and operate both automated and manual manufacturing equipment, ensuring strict adherence to safety guidelines and quality standards.Perform tasks such as sampling, material handling, cleaning, and maintenance in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).Apply computer systems to manage production processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.Accurately record data from various instruments and systems, analyze it against standards, and make adjustments to maintain process parameters within designated limits.Collect and submit samples for quality testing, and perform in-house tests to determine specific properties, taking appropriate actions based on results.Inspect finished products to ensure they meet specifications in appearance, packaging, and labeling.Receive and verify raw material deliveries, maintaining accurate records per company procedures.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent experience required.

Experience:Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a production or manufacturing role, preferably with chemical processing or pharmaceutical experience, preferred.Strong mechanical competence and familiarity with manufacturing equipment.Successful completion of Phase I of the On-The-Job Training program within 24 months of employment.

Proficiencies:Solid understanding of basic equipment and manufacturing processes.Proven problem-solving skills and a logical approach to process improvement.Excellent interpersonal skills to foster a collaborative team environment.Ability to interpret technical procedures and apply basic mathematical principles.

Physical Requirements:Regular standing, handling, reaching, walking, and occasional stooping or kneeling.Ability to ascend/descend stairs and lift up to 50 lbs.Specific vision abilities including close vision and focus adjustment.
