Job Description
The Formulation Chemist will be responsible for the formulation of cosmetic lines, product development, marketing, and bench formulation. The chemist will oversee scale-up and compounding runs, work closely with the quality department to set specifications, and assist with sourcing materials. The role involves working with filling and production teams to resolve any issues, attending weekly calls with F&B sales representatives to discuss projects, and participating in customer calls to discuss products. Instrumentation used includes viscometers, pH meters, and density measurements.

The Formulation Chemist will work on the R&D team alongside the R&D Director and two other formulation chemists in a contract manufacturing facility. The work environment includes the use of viscometers, pH meters, and density measurement tools. The instrumentation is easily taught, ensuring a collaborative and supportive atmosphere. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $29.00 - $36.00/hr.
