Overview

The Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe operation of a production forklift to stack material and empty full containers throughout the facility efficiently.

What you will need:

1+ year of experience driving a production forklift in a production settingHS Diploma or GED preferredAble to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screenSafety toe shoes

What you will do:

Follow all safety practicesMaintain a clean and safe work area (5s)Report to shift supervisor for daily work assignmentsResponsible for organizing lumberCoordinate with supervisor to empty full containers and trash bins throughout the dayContinuously monitor the condition of the equipment to ensure it is operationally ready at all times

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Be able to lift up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodationAbility to work get on and off a forklift throughout your 10-hour shiftWillingness to learn and be trainedExcellent attendance – must be reliable and punctual
