Our client in the Kannapolis, North Carolina area is currently seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join their warehouse team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with prior experience in material handling or forklift operations who is ready to take their skills to the next level. The ideal candidate will have a job-related certification for Material Handling Equipment and will be responsible for replenishing inventory to ensure efficient and continuous product selection. This role plays a key part in the supply chain by supporting smooth operations, maintaining safety protocols, and ensuring that inventory is handled with care and precision. The Day-to-Day:
Transport pallet loads of product from the dock to the correct warehouse locations using a forklift.Replenish pick slots from reserve slots to maintain inventory availability.Secure pallets properly in their designated slots to prevent damage or injury during product selection.Perform regular safety checks and operational inspections on forklift equipment (battery, brakes, lift controls, fire extinguisher, etc.).Record all instances of product damage, equipment issues, and warehouse incidents.Maintain a clean work environment by clearing debris from aisles, floors, and racks.Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.Job-related certification for Material Handling Equipment strongly preferred.Prior experience as a selector and/or forklift operator is a plus.Ability to perform basic mathematical functions.Pay Rate:
$18.00 to $19.00 per hourSchedule:
Monday to Friday6:45 AM to 3:30 PM
