**Forklift Operator** **Description:** If you have recent forklift experience and you're looking for a new position ASAP, then this is the position for you. A large recycling plant in Omaha, Nebraska, is looking for a skilled Forklift Operator to join their team. The role involves operating a sit-down forklift 90% of the shift to load and unload semi-trucks, and performing tasks such as cleaning, emptying boxes, and throwing boxes into the compactor for the remaining 10%. **Skills:** + 6+ months of recent forklift experience in the last job + 6+ months of experience loading and unloading trailers + Experience in a manufacturing environment + Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment + Must be able to wear jeans and steel-toed boots at all times **Experience Level:** Entry-Expert Level (experience with Linde forklifts is preferred but not required) Location: On-site at 8635 Military Rd, Omaha, Nebraska, 68134-1844, United States Pay: Depends on experience **Shift:** + Mon – Fri. + 1st shift: 6am-3pm + 2nd shift: 3pm-11pm + 3rd shift: 10pm - 6:30am Good Overtime is being offered! Work Environment: This position is in one of the largest recycling plants in Omaha, where the work environment can be dirty with cardboard and paper covering the floors. The plant is not climate-controlled, making it very cold in the winter and very hot in the summer. Forklifts are equipped with heaters and doors for winter months and will have air conditioning starting in September. Candidates are required to wear jeans and steel-toed boots at all times.
