Miller Brother Staffing Solutions is seeking qualified candidates for a Forklift Operator position with an Erie, PA based company. This is a 2nd shift position with a pay range of $18-20/hr plus $1.25 shift differential.

Forklift Operator

Shift: 2nd shift 2pm-10:3pam Monday through Friday

Pay Rate: $18-2hour plus $1.25 shift differential

Must have steel toed boots. 

Overview—Follow procedures, assist the warehouse department leader and staff with the daily operational processes, systems, and customer/supplier relationships concerning all general warehouse material handling needs.  This will include but will not be limited to, maintaining effective communications with the jitney operators, warehouse sales staff, and other warehouse staff and assistants, promoting a harmonious work environment, and following standards, procedures, and company policies

Duties

Ability to load material for shipments onto trucks per DOT and company standards. Knowledge of inventory/location. Assure incoming material is unloaded, inspected, identified, and staged. Knowledge of lifting procedures and rigging relating to cranes, forklifts, and other lifting devices. Ability to operate cranes, forklifts, and other lifting devices. Assist truck drivers with loading, unloading, tarping and chaining as required. Perform other duties, shop wide, as assigned.
