Position Title:
Shipping Forklift Operator
Pay Rate:
$24.84 per hour (+ shift differential of $.25 per hour working 2nd shift / $.50 per hour working 3rd shift)
Sign on Bonus:
$500 after 30 days,
$500 after 6 months,
$500 after 1 year and an additional bonus at 2 years
Category/Shift:
Hourly Full-Time.
2 openings:
2nd Shift: 3pm – 11pm M-F OR
3rd Shift: 11pm – 7am M-F
-Must be willing to work overtime and weekends as needed; significant overtime may be needed during busy periods.

The Job You Will Perform:
Safely operate a sit down forklift; Verify and maintain records on incoming and outgoing shipments, and prepare items for shipment; Load and unload trailers; Complete pre-start forklift maintenance inspection report; Follow proper trailer loading and unloading lock-out/tag-out procedure; Complete receiving report to accurately record materials received; Submit receiving reports after trailer is unloaded; Complete load sheet to accurately record the grades, bale count, loading start/stop times for finished goods on outbound shipments; Complete and submit load sheet at completion of shipment; Understand and follow load pattern according to trailer, railcart Follow all safety rules and practices at all times; and Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
The Skills You Will Bring:
Minimum of 2 years forklift experience Previous forklift operating experience in an industrial manufacturing or other labor intensive work experience is required A background as an order picker is preferred Corrugated industry manufacturing environment preferred Know what a monotrol pedal is and how it operates Be able to multitask in a very fast-paced environment Be computer literate and effectively use scanning equipment and arranging for the transportation of products The ability to learn; and the ability to follow instructions, ask questions, and work effectively as a member of a team.The Benefits You Will Enjoy:
