\n\nOperations Supervisor: Denise Munoz\nOperations Manager: Angela Walker\nGeneral Manager: Mike Salas\n\n\n1st shift hours, Tuesday –; Saturday schedule: 5a –; 1:30p, OT when workload volumes are high\n\nShift ends when workload is completed\nEach pick line usually splits the workload for the day\nEOW are busy work days as volumes are higher at the EOW\n12 hour days can occur when volumes are high.\nCommunication is provided when workload is high, on hours that will be worked.\nAttendance is crucial, especially during the first 3 months\nMonday OT work shifts when needed, due to workload volumes\n\nThe facility is 150,000 sq. ft. and is not climate controlled.\nPeak season is Nov-Dec during which hours worked are increased per day.\nProductivity standards are set in place to meet customer requirements after probationary period\n\nA gradual, weekly improvement is expected.\nEach picker & stacker must pick/stack at a rate of 500 cases per hour; after their 3 months\nAfter 1st month @ 250 CPH, after 2nd month @ 400 CPH and after 3rd month @ 500 CPH\n\nRole consists of pick to belt with our voice to pick system\nPhysically picking cases from staged floor pallets to a conveyer line\nPhysically stacking cases from conveyer line to a pallet\nProperly utilizing our voice to pick equipment and ring scanner devices\n

Role Purpose:

What will you do in this role? Our Forklift Operators are responsible for moving stock from one area to another within our warehouse environment. You’ll load and unload shipments of various sizes, and you may use certain types of equipment such as stand-up, sit-down, or clamp forklifts and electric pallet jacks.Our environment is team oriented, fast paced and safety focused. Key Accountabilities:

Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using various types of forklifts or other power equipment 80% of specified shift.Pull and prepare product for shipment ensuring the exact number and types of product is loaded.Keep appropriate records and reports for inventory accuracy.Comply with all OSHA and MSDS standards.Verify load accuracy; check the load count, stability, and product damage, report variances as necessary.Change equipment battery or LP tank and monitor power source as necessary.Maintain the facility’s equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.Assist in physical inventories.Complete daily inspection of equipment.Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience:

Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employmentHigh School Diploma or Equivalent, preferredSix months warehouse experience, preferredSix months forklift operation experience
