Our client is seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join their team in Morganton, NC. This role plays a critical part in supporting their warehouse operations by ensuring safe, accurate, and efficient handling of materials and products. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and experienced in warehouse logistics and forklift operation.

The Day-to-Day:

Package finished products for shipping, including shrink wrapping, boxing, and labeling.Review purchase and work orders to ensure accuracy in assembly and readiness for delivery.Verify quantities and assist in inventory management and regular inventory counts.Load finished goods onto trucks and unload incoming products from containers.Stock materials in designated warehouse locations.Perform quality control inspections to prevent damaged goods from being shipped or stored.Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in accordance with standard operating procedures.Conduct routine maintenance on forklifts and material handling equipment.Manage inventory movement in and out of controlled storage locations.Secure loads safely prior to transport.Pick, wrap, and prepare customer orders for shipment.Optimize loads for efficiency and effective space utilization.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent.2–4 years of experience operating a forklift in a warehouse environment.Current or previous forklift certification.Proficient in using pallet jacks and related equipment.Solid understanding of warehouse operations and best practices.Ability to consistently lift up to 50 lbs.

Pay Rate:

$18.00 /hr
