Our client is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join their team in Kent, WA. This position is responsible for supporting front-end chemical technician operations, including foam machinery setup, quality assurance, material handling, and maintaining a clean, efficient work environment. The ideal candidate will be forklift certified and comfortable working in a manufacturing setting that may involve exposure to airborne dust and seasonal extreme heat. This role operates in an indoor environment with varying temperatures and frequent proximity to moving equipment. Employees must be able to work safely in conditions that may include extreme heat (above 100°F) and exposure to airborne dust. Safety gear such as gloves and safety glasses will be provided and must be worn as required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Chemical Technician Operations – 85%

Operate and maintain foam machinery and pouring equipment, including setup, cleanup, and raw material handling.Apply knowledge of foam manufacturing processes and quality control standards to ensure products meet required specifications.Coordinate with pourline and crane operators to manage the movement of foam buns without disrupting production.Complete outfeed operator checklists and assist with chemical or foam spill cleanup.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Other Responsibilities – 10%

Participate in improvement initiatives and support cross-functional production tasks as needed.Provide assistance to other departments to maintain efficient workflow and production goals.

Additional Duties – 5%

Perform other related duties as assigned to support overall operations.

Qualifications:

Valid forklift certificationPrevious experience in a manufacturing or production setting preferredAbility to perform physical tasks, including lifting, standing, and operating machinery for extended periodsHigh attention to safety, quality, and detailRegular and predictable attendance is required

$20.00/hourMonday to Friday5:00 AM to 2:30 PM
