**Forklift Operator - San Diego, CA** **Job Description** + As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for using a sit-down forklift to pick and pull orders, and load and unload trucks on a daily basis. You will receive orders from customers, pick the orders, and prepare them to be loaded onto customers' trucks. A typical day consists of 60% forklift operation and 40% manual labor, involving over 100 customer interactions requesting orders. Operate a sit-down forklift to pick and pull orders, and load and unload trucks. + Receive orders from customers, pick the orders, and prepare them for loading. + Perform 60% forklift operation and 40% manual labor daily. + Interact with over 100 customers daily for will-call order requests. + Read instructions and understand procedure manuals. + Ensure equipment and work area cleanliness. + Maintain knowledge of all products. + Wrap products, pick products by hand, and rearrange the warehouse. + Ensure the work area meets safety standards. + Provide excellent customer service. **Essential Skills** + Experience with forklift operation and material handling. + 1-2+ years of warehouse experience. + Experience working in a fast-paced environment. + Ability to work flexibly depending on business needs. + Self-discipline, strong work ethic, and ambition. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
