**Job Title: Forklift Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled forklift operator to join our team! Our company specializes in making corrugated boxes for major clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts to load and unload materials and deliveries, as well as moving them to and from storage areas, machines, and loading docks. **Responsibilities** + Operate forklift to load and unload materials and deliveries. + Transport materials or equipment to and from designated areas within the facility. + Provide raw or WHIP stock to production machines as per the production schedule. + Load and unload goods from vehicles. + Move goods packed on pallets or slip sheets around the storage facility. + Stack goods in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions. + Stack empty pallets. + Remove machine attachments and waste material from machines. + Dump materials into machine hoppers. **Essential Skills** + 6 months to 1 year of forklift operating experience (sit down or stand up). + Material handling experience. + Experience with picking, packing, and unloading. + Experience with RF scanners. + Experience with shipping and receiving. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High school diploma or equivalent. + Ability to lift 10-30 lbs. consistently. + Ability to stand on feet for 8-10 hours per day. **Why Work Here?** Our company has recently been acquired by a reputable organization, ensuring stability and growth. The work hours for the 2nd shift are from 2pm to 10pm, with a shift premium of $1.25/hr and a base rate of $17. There is a $2 raise after 4 months. Employees have been working 8/9-hour shifts consistently, including some overtime before or after their shift. The facility is noisy, housing Flexo and corrugated packaging machines. It is a clean and organized space, with a total of 50 employees on the shop floor. **Job Type & Location** This is a position based out of FORT ATKINSON, Wisconsin. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.25 - $18.25/hr.
