**Job Title: Forklift Operator** **Job Description** We are looking for a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team in a cold storage facility. The primary responsibility of this role is to perform tasks using a forklift. The facility includes specific freezer rooms reaching temperatures as low as -10F, while the majority of the facility is maintained around 40F. **Responsibilities** + Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move and stack products. + Perform inventory control tasks using RF scanners. + Pick and pack orders as per requirements. + Load and unload shipments using pallet jacks. + Handle shipping and receiving duties efficiently. + Ensure accurate order picking and packaging. + Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment. + Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times. **Essential Skills** + Forklift operation certification. + Experience with RF scanners. + Proficiency in using pallet jacks. + Strong inventory control skills. + Ability to handle heavy lifting. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Prior experience in a cold storage facility is preferred. **Why Work Here?** We offer amazing company benefits and a unionized work environment at our Bellingham facility. The dress code includes appropriate cold-weather gear to ensure comfort and safety in the work environment. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Bellingham, Washington. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
