The candidate will be responsible for operating a sit-down forklift, taking products off the production line, and placing them on freight trucks. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to maintain a safe and organized workspace. **Responsibilities** + Operate propane sit-down lift trucks. + Make labels for each production run and verify the correct information is on the label. + Apply labels and feet to each pallet. + Verify piece counts on each pallet and compare them to the label. + Inspect material for quality defects. + Take products off the production line and put them away in designated locations in the warehouse. + Keep the production line clear and running. + Keep rows straight and leave at least a 2-4 inch distance between pallets. + Utilize RF Scanners. **Essential Skills** + 1+ years of sit-down forklift experience. + Experience in a manufacturing + Proficiency in operating sit-down forklifts, RF scanners, and managing inventory. + High School Diploma/GED or equivalent, including out-of-country diplomas or GEDs with proof. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in a warehouse environment. + Skills in shipping and receiving, picking, packing, and production/warehouse operations. **Why Work Here?** Join a leading manufacturer in the Polysio industry, known for making insulation panels for the construction industry. The facility includes several production lines with machines such as saws and slitters. Candidates will need to walk through conveyor systems or over them to reach different areas of the saws, with all walkways provided safely. The open-door facility accommodates trucks for loading and unloading products, resulting in varying temperatures: hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Candidates must be comfortable working in these conditions. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Franklin Park, Illinois. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
