Job Requires 6 months of Stand up forklift job
We are seeking hardworking and enthusiastic individuals, that take pride in a job well done. The Warehouse Order Selector is responsible for operating a pallet jack / stand-up tow motor, selecting the correct products, labeling, and then lifting them onto pallets, building a properly stacked pallet, and safely loading onto trucks for delivery to customers.
Training is conducted on the afternoon shift 1:00pm to 9:30pm
After training is completed, the permanent shift is 7:00pm to 3:30am
The job will require working in areas with varied temperatures from refrigerated
(34 degrees) to a freezer (-10 degrees).
Responsibilities:
Employees must be able to perform all the essential functions listed below.
Meet and or exceed minimum case pick select (cases per hour) and accuracy productivity standards.
Develop a good working knowledge of the warehouse layout, inventory placement and pick path
Operate all power industrial equipment in a safe manner while moving throughout the facility
Use of RF electronic equipment during daily case pick selection
Hand selects items at varying heights, weights, quantities in different temperatures throughout the shift
Able to move in a full range of physical activity including bending occasion
Stack product on pallets according to proper build procedures (i.e., heaviest on the bottom, labels facing out, balanced load, etc.)
Shrink wrap product on loading dock
Load selected pallets onto the proper truck or trailer.
Qualifications:
Constantly moves about to coordinate work, walking most of the shift, lifting items frequently throughout the shift – this is a manual labor position working in refrigerated environment eight (8) hours or more
Basic math skills
Ability to be certified and safely operate a pallet jack and forklift
Adhere to safety and sanitation standards
Employee is required to adhere to attendance guideline
