FutureCare is excited to open our second location in Anne Arundel County, FutureCare Annapolis. We are looking to hire a group of outstanding leaders to help build the team that will operate this new location. The facility is currently undergoing a multi-million-dollar upgrade project with a goal of opening for business in late spring of 2025. FutureCare Annapolis will be licensed as a 154-bed skilled nursing facility serving the post-acute and long-term care needs of the community. Our goal is to establish our new facility as a premier provider in Anne Arundel County.
FutureCare Annapolis is situated in the suburban Annapolis area near a development called Heritage Harbor which is just a few minutes from downtown Annapolis, Maryland and has easy access to major travel arteries. The center will provide ample parking, attractive common areas, and an expansive rehabilitation gym and suite. Patient rooms are spacious with high ceilings. When the renovations are complete the center will be stunning.

Responsibilities Ensure that the food service operates within established budgetary guidelinesAssign, direct and supervise food service workers ·Assist in the hiring, transfer, promotion, demotion, or dismissal of food service workersFollow proper receiving, storage, and preparation techniques to insure that all food items are maintained at a high quality until consumedPlan, implement, and review all breakfast, lunch and dinner menusPrepare all local and State reports as directed or requiredUnderstand and implement safety procedures as required by the Food and Safety Health departmentDirect the expenditure of the food service budget Qualifications Formal training (college degree preferred) in Culinary Arts or related fieldsCertified as a Dietary Manager or currently enrolled in a recognized certification course with certification being granted within 18 months of hire dateMust be certified by the Maryland State approved sanitation programMust have at least two (2) years of food service management experience in the health care industryPrevious supervisory skills and proven ability to lead and manage individualsMust have excellent communication skillsEqual Opportunity Employer
