**Job Type:** Regular **Time Type:** null **Work Shift:** Rotating (United States of America) **FLSA Status:** Non-Exempt **When you join the growing BILH team, you're not just taking a job, you’re making a difference in people’s lives.** Responsible for assembly and service of all food for patients, cafeteria and catering services. Adheres to preparation standards, recipes, procedures and plans. Completes food inventory as directed. Completes all food safety, customer service and other job-related training to meet standards. Adheres to federal, state, and local food codes at all times. Cleans and sanitizes service items, food preparation equipment, work areas, and food and supplies to hospital departments and patient care areas. Adheres to cash handling policies and procedures. Assist patients with placement of meal trays and assists patient with meal -related requests. Performs all other duties as assigned. **Job Description:** **Essential Responsibilities including but not limited to:** + Food Preparation: Follows all established and regulatory standards for the preparation, service, and storage of food. + Standardized recipes are utilized for all food preparation, with all modifications approved by Executive Chef or a manager. + Food production system procedures are followed for all food preparation, service, and storage. + HACCP procedures and documentation (logs) are followed at all times. + Work areas are cleaned and sanitized as established by department standards. + Is able to work independently without direct supervision. + Stores all leftover food effectively, maintaining appropriate documentation and logs. + Maintains patient and customer satisfaction with food. + Maintains food presentation and quality standards for patient, cafeteria, and catering food services. + Follows correct operating and cleaning procedures for food production equipment and all work and service areas. + Assures all sanitation, cleaning, and temperature standards are adhered to at all times. + Food Safety standards are met daily. **Minimum Qualifications** Education High school diploma or equivalent Experience N/A Certification/License N/A Skills, knowledge & abilities Fluent in English (read, write and speak) **As a health care organization, we have a responsibility to do everything in our power to care for and protect our patients, our colleagues and our communities.
