Food Safety Specialist (f/m/x)

Are you passionate about ensuring high-quality and food-safe products? Join our team at Mars Snacking JAN Factory as a Food Safety Specialist. As part of the Quality and Food Safety Team, you will play a vital role in maintaining product and process compliance to meet Corporate Mars Standards.

What would be your key responsibilities?

Food Safety standards ownership at site level

Participates in the Food Safety standard development with regional and global Q&FS teams

Calibrates understanding of Food Safety standards and best practices with the Regional food safety community

Ensures deployment of new Food Safety standard to the factory environment

Training on Food Safety standards and Quality Leadership behavior

Defines the right Food Safety training program requirements based on all observations/input obtained from incidents, audits and behaviors

Proposes and creates Food Safety training packages and communication programs for all the associates in collaboration with the Supply departments.

In charge of defining and validating all the procedures aiming to guaranty a food safety product (OPRP, CCP, micro verification, including cleaning and allergen/Changeover procedures)

What are we looking for?

Minimum 2yrs experience in food safety production environments.

Good verbal and written communication skills in Polish and English

GMP/GHP, HACCP and Allergen management

Microbiological knowledge is a highly welcome advantage

ISO9001 and FSSC22000

Good analytical skills and knowledge of statistics

Internal auditing experience – LR/BRC or equivalent Lead Auditor/Internal Auditor Certified

Proven record of problem-solving ability using scientific knowledge & principles (6-sigma).

Studies in food technology/engineering
