JOB PURPOSE:

 

As Plant QMS, Digital & Analytics Lead, you ensure the implementation and maintenance of the plant's Quality System, coordinate audits, and manage CAPAs. You also support the integration of regional quality tools, oversee key metrics, and provide analytical insights for continuous improvement.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

 

Food Safety & Sanitation

Ensuring that our food safety programs (such as HACCP and environmental monitoring) are properly implemented and adhered to.Supervising allergen management, foreign material controls and hygienic equipment design.Developing training and initiatives to improve the food safety culture.Working with microbiological analyses to minimize food safety risks.Ensuring effective cleaning and disinfection processes, including the correct use of cleaning agents.

 

Quality Management System Implementation
In collaboration with plant teams, you will:

Implement and maintain an efficient QMS using the regional tool.Manage complaints, non-conformities, and change processes with follow-up on corrective actions and KPIs.Ensure traceability systems are in place and tested through mock recalls and EWE exercises.Deploy and maintain the Crisis Management program with updated manuals, trained key players, and annual mock recalls.Prepare for and support the management review process.

 

Audit & Compliance Programs Execution
You will be responsible for:

Planning and executing internal and external audit programs (AIB, BRC, IFS, Halal, Kosher, Organic, Clients).Ensuring nonconformities are addressed promptly with thorough root cause analysis.Supporting the FS&Q Plant Manager during regulatory inspections.Documenting and monitoring CAPA execution and managing audit action plans.Following up on specific local regulations.Maintaining key quality tools (e.g., Manual Master, Intelex, CAPA modules, Carenet, SharePoint) and training colleagues on their use.

 

Food Safety Culture

You promote a strong food safety culture by aligning decisions with McCain's quality values and enhancing technical understanding of food safety, quality risks, and impacts.

Minimally holder of a bachelor’s degree in a food science disciplineMinimum 5 years or more of experience, working within a food manufacturing organizationStrong understanding of fundamental quality management principlesEffective verbal and written communication skillsExpertise in the following standards: AIB, BRC, IFS, FSMA, halal, and kosherExpert in CAPA managementKnowledge of EU food laws and local regulationsFluent in French and EnglishExpertise in leveraging AI is an advantage
