Sodexo is seeking a Food Production Manager 2 for North Oaks Hospital located in Hammond, Louisiana. North Oaks Health System is a 300-bed facility and one of Louisiana’s largest and most progressive community hospital organizations strategically based between New Orleans and Baton Rouge.
The Food Production Manager 2 will report to the General Manager, assist the Executive Chef with regulatory standards, food production, maintaining food budget, cleanliness of kitchen, and ensuring HACCP standards are met. We are seeking a charismatic and organized manager to support a team of 15 frontline staff and ensure the best food is being served to our patients and customers always. Seeking candidates with a proven track record for developing, leading and engaging a culinary team.
What You'll DoThe successful candidate will:
work with Executive Chef on standardize all culinary systems and procedures for menus, FMS sheets, garnishes, panning charts, production, HACCP, cleaning schedules, staffing plans, presentation and quality of food, kitchen cleanliness, safety. responsible for food and physical safetyconduct audits, create action plans based on audit findings.train and mentor production staff, education is key to our success. understanding of purchasingscheduling and filling in call outsRegulatory, be able to speak, when spoken too (DNV / DOH) What We OfferCompensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience.
