Food & Beverage Sanitation Supervisor

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Conduct daily and weekly sanitation audits to ensure cleanliness and food safety standards are met.

Coach and develop team members, providing guidance on proper sanitation practices.

Responsible for overseeing the annual Serv Safe re-certification for Seasonal and Full-Time Associates.

Responsible for conducting annual NFP (National Food Protection) trainings and monthly refreshers to team.

Assisting Food and Beverage locations during peak business days and special events to ensure operational efficiency.

Create and maintain weekly reports using Six Flags Safety Culture guidelines, in alignment with Diversey standards

Prepare reports for regular review with the Manager of In-Park Revenue, including weekly recaps and suggestions for improving processes.

Report to meetings with Regional Chef on health and sanitation audits.

Report any and all maintenance concerns that could have an adverse effect on food and personal safety.

Serve as a liaison with the park’s Public Safety Department to address safety and security concerns related to food and beverage operations.

Work with team to ensure Safety audits are rectified in an appropriate manner.

Collaborate with third-party inspectors and the Department of Health during audits and inspections.

Provide excellent guest service by engaging with guests, answering questions, and offering assistance when needed, in line with Six Flags’ standards.

Ensure that all required paperwork is completed accurately and promptly.

Requires using a telephone or radio communication device in a professional manner.

Perform other duties as assigned by the Full-time Supervisors and the Manager.

 

 

Skills and Qualifications:

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining attention to detail while meeting deadlines and objectives. Proficient in computer abilities including Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to multitask and effectively follow-up to ensure all issues are corrected in a timely manner and all safe service standards are being met. Required to obtain and maintain Serv Safe Proctor Certification Required to obtain and maintain Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) server/seller certification. Background in Culinary Arts or Hospitality Management is preferred. Strong knowledge of food borne pathogens illness and disease with a solid knowledge of food science Must be willing to work a varied schedule, including extended shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
