This pivotal role ensures the seamless operation of our dining outlets, providing our guests with exceptional culinary experiences. Overview:The Food & Beverage Outlets Manager is responsible for maintaining efficient food and beverage operations throughout the hotel, ensuring high production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards.Key Responsibilities:• Manage day-to-day food and beverage operations within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standards.• Oversee the operations of the Restaurant, Bar and Lounge, Rooftop, In-Room Dining, and Private Dining Events.• Conduct daily pre-shift meetings for all meal periods.• Ensure service staff complete their tasks at the beginning and end of each shift.• Provide support to service staff during their shift to maintain operational protocols throughout all outlets.• Open and/or close the restaurant, ensuring menus are printed, lighting and sound are appropriate, and the restaurant is properly closed at the end of service.• Prepare and analyze daily sales and labor reports.• Manage employee attendance and timeliness, ensuring that timecards and employee tips are accurate daily.• Order and process liquor, beer, and wine deliveries and invoices in BirchStreet.• Assist with the beverage program as necessary, ensuring all items needed for successful beverage operations are in stock and ordered.• Deliver superior food and beverage services to maximize guest satisfaction. Engage with guests to ensure satisfaction and handle service recovery opportunities professionally and efficiently.• Encourage guest feedback and inquiries.• Support other restaurant and hotel operations as needed to ensure all outlets are effectively managed.• Interview, inspire, train, supervise, counsel, schedule, evaluate, and develop food and beverage associates. Manage departmental operational duties, including interviewing, onboarding, performance evaluations, training, and development of associates.• Participate in daily and weekly departmental meetings.• Demonstrate the highest level of professional ethics and maintain strict confidentiality.• Collaborate with culinary and sales/catering teams to develop and execute banquet menus.• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and conduct regular inspections.• Prepare operational reports as required.• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Restaurant and Bar Director.

Qualifications:• Experience: Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role with a luxury or ultra-luxury hotel/restaurant.• Education: Bachelor's degree in hospitality, hotel management, business, or a relevant field preferred. Equivalent combination of education and work-related experience will be considered.• Food & Beverage Knowledge: A working knowledge of wine, cocktails, and spirits, and a basic understanding of culinary terms and operations.• General Skills: Attention to detail, speed, and accuracy; ability to prioritize, organize, and follow up; clear thinker who remains calm and resolves problems using good judgment; thorough understanding of guest service needs; ability to work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team; ability to work with minimal supervision; maintain confidentiality of guest and associate information and pertinent hotel data.• Schedule: Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.• Technical Skills: Strong interviewing skills, understanding of associate relations, and ability to create a team atmosphere. Proficiency with wine and spirits, both in terms of product knowledge and service. Basic math skills. Effective communication with guests and associates. Mid-level to advanced computer skills.• Language: Required to speak, read, and write English fluently. Fluency in other languages is preferred.• Physical Requirements: Ability to exert physical effort in transporting a minimum of 35 pounds, endure various physical movements throughout the work areas; reach up and down, push and pull, remain standing for long periods, and satisfactorily communicate with guests and co-workers.• Licenses & Certifications: Must be at least 21 years of age to serve alcohol. ABRA license required, TIPS Certification preferred.
Salary Range:$70,000 - $76,000 AnnuallyThis information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
