As a Food and Beverage Manager, you will be responsible for providing incredible guest service and member experiences through execution of all banquet events at the Club. This includes implementing budgets, hiring, training and supervising of all related Food and Beverage service and production staff. Previous Food & Beverage experience is a requirement for the position.
Ideal candidates have flexible schedules with availability to work weekends and holidays. This includes competitive compensation ranging from $50,000 - $55,000.

Responsibilities
Ensures and maintains the proper preparation of menu items. Writes, maintains, and updates all menu specifications, recipes and pictures, and production forecasts. Prepares requisitions for supplies and food items for production. Observes production flow and adjusts to adhere to control procedures for cost and quality. Ensures proper receiving, storage (including temperature setting) and rotation of food products in compliance with health department regulations, including coverage, labeling, dating, and placing items in proper containers of kitchen and service. Monitor that all equipment in the kitchen is clean and in proper working condition. Identifies need for repairs and ensures that repairs are made in a timely manner. Responsible for interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning, and directing work, evaluating performance, rewarding, and disciplining associates; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Assures that effective orientation and training are given to each new associate. Develops ongoing training programs and conducts training and refresher classes for all F&B personnel in the correct procedures. Daily management of all F&B personnel Monitors business volume forecast and plans accordingly in areas of manpower, productivity, costs, and other expenses. Incorporates safe work practices in job performance. Regular and reliable attendance Assist AGM/GM with banquet and event sales. Inspects and assists with banquet set-up and breakdown of tables, decorations, equipment, serving areas, and related activities in an accurate and timely manner. Ensure satisfaction by communicating with the client throughout the event regarding any changes, substitutions, or special requests; assisting banquet staff throughout the event as needed (refilling drinks, delivering food, bussing tables, etc.); and following up with host at the conclusion of event. Daily oversight of F&B, opening, closing, and accounting procedures Forecasting and budgets pertaining to F&B operation. Maintaining cost controls and conducting a monthly inventory Assists in the development and implementation of marketing program to increase business. Alcohol and beverage ordering – follow PO buying process. Uphold Troon Food and Beverage policies. Institute and implement all Troon Human Resources guidelines. Responsible for overall guest satisfaction Ensure all employees are conducting themselves in a professional manner. Perform daily walk-through to ensure full compliance with the Department of Health regulations. Complies with applicable health, alcoholic beverage, fire and other local/state laws.Education and Experience Requirements
College degree preferred Must have related experience in F&B; club environment preferred Knowledge of pertinent health regulations and liquor laws Must have food and beverage/a la carte and banquet experience Must have proven management experience Must be highly organized, efficient and detail-oriented Must have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills Must have strong customer/guest orientation Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPointWorking Conditions
