The Food and Beverage Attendant is a full-time, year-round position at the Gatlinburg SkyPark. As the F&B Attendant, you are responsible for the sales of all F&B of the property as well as maintaining a clean and approachable working environment. Responsibilities Job Summary: The F&B/Retail Attendant is responsible for the sales of all F&B of the property as well as maintaining a clean and approachable working environment. Essential Job Functions (including but not limited to,): Assisting customers by escorting them directly to racks and counters, and/or suggesting items Advising customers by providing accurate information on products Helping customer make selections by building customer confidence through offering suggestions and opinions Accurately preparing and serving food and drink items to customers Accepting payments by totaling purchases and processing checks, cash, or credit cards, etc. Setting up and displaying products and merchandise Assisting with keeping F&B products stocked and in order Maintaining the appearance, upkeep, and cleanliness of all SkyPark areas Helping to maintain accurate inventory records on a weekly basis Must work your scheduled shift and follow uniform policy guidelines Attend required trainings/meetings Qualifications Required Qualifications (knowledge, skills, certifications, education, etc.) Must have or be willing to obtain a Serve Safe food handlers' certification within 60 days (about 2 months). You have achieved a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) You are available to work days, evening, weekends, and holidays Must have reliable transportation Must be trustworthy Preferred Qualifications (knowledge, skills, certifications, education, etc.) You would enjoy a customer service position working with guests You thrive in a fast paced work environment You have a positive attitude You enjoy human interaction You enjoy making other people smile You can work in a team-setting You have previous retail F&B experience You enjoy being outside and love the beautiful Smoky Mountain views! Physical Demands: Must be able to stand for 6-8 hours at a time Must be able to lift up +/- 25 lbs. Work Environment: This is an outdoor position with exposure to the elements at times which would include all weather conditions.
